How do I place an order?

 

Answer:

You can place an order online or over the phone using a major credit card such as American Express, Master Card, or Visa.  For each product or service that you order our website, you as the customer agree to pay the price for the product (including any sales taxes, surcharges and any delivery fees for the delivery service you selected) at the time you submitted the order.  Please understand that Merch Method will not be held liable in the event that others acting with or without your permission use your credit card to make purchases on the website.  Our toll-free phone number can be found at the bottom of the website.  If you prefer, you can also order by mail using a money order or personal check (do not send cash.)  Please send your mail order to:

SHIPPING RATES/INFORMATION

In order to calculate shipping charges, please add all desired items to your online shopping cart and proceed to checkout.  (You do not enter any credit card information until the shipping method and cost has been selected.)  We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.  While we will do all we can to ensure your order is delivered on time, Merch Method cannot be held responsible for circumstances beyond our control such as severe weather, service interruptions, etc.

 

Question:

How do I check the status of my order?

 

Answer:

Order status is available through our online store.  Please visit the website where you placed your order, log-in, and click on the "Order Status" link located at the top of the page next to the "Help" section. You will notice the following sequence of links: Storefront, View Cart, Checkout, Order Status, Help.  The "Order Status" link will not appear unless you are logged into the store and have completed a purchase.  Order status is sometimes not available for pre-orders if the store has already closed.  This section provides order status, ship date, and relevant tracking information.

You can find your tracking number in the shipment confirmation email.  Expected delivery times for Standard delivery are 7-12 business days and International delivery is 4-8 weeks.

 

Question:

How do I return or exchange an item?

 

Answer:

Merch Method will accept any unwashed / unworn merchandise for return 14 days after the received date. After 30 days, merchandise may be exchanged for a different size or similarly priced item. For international returns and exchanges may be handled within 30 days of shipment date for orders outside of the United States. Merch Method stands behind the quality of our merchandise.  If the item you wish to exchange is the result of a manufacturer’s defect, the customer will have 30 days from the received date to exchange for the same item, or store credit towards another design in the same store.  Merch Method will NOT accept any opened non-wearable merchandise, including but not limited to; belts, key chains, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, videos, etc., for exchange and return. There are NO refunds, returns or exchanges for digital downloads or hotel/festival packages; all sales are final.


EXCHANGE FEE
There is a $8.00 exchange processing fee if the items exchanged are not damaged or defective (determination of damage or defect will be at our sole discretion). Rejected returns will be sent back to you at your cost and will be charged to the original payment source for your order.


REFUNDS
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, except in the case of a manufacturer's defect. All refunds will be credited to the original payment source. If the original payment source is unavailable, we reserve the right to issue an electronic gift certificate or issue a refund check to be mailed to the billing address provided on the order.


WHO PAYS FOR POSTAGE?
Postage for returns/exchanges are paid by the customer. If you are returning damaged or defective merchandise, Merch Method will cover the cost of return shipping only after filling out the return/exchange form on qualifying returns. For all other returns/exchanges, the customer is responsible for the return postage as well as the shipping cost for re-shipment. If we determine, at our sole discretion, that the merchandise you return is not eligible for return or exchange, you authorize us to charge the return shipping charges to your original payment source.


MERCHANDISE THAT EXCEEDS $100.00 IN VALUE
For any returned merchandise valued in excess of $100.00 you must send the merchandise using a traceable and insured ship method. All other items can be sent by a method of your choice.


WHAT IF MY RETURN IS LOST IN THE MAIL?
We cannot issue refunds for items not received by our returns department. We recommend that you use a traceable shipping method to ensure successful delivery.

Question:

I do not see the size that I want online. Is it available?

 

Answer:

Our website is a direct reflection of all available sizes.  Merchandise is limited to the size and color listed on the online store.  If a size does not appear online, it is currently unavailable.  Be sure to check the website regularly to see if specific sizes become available.

How do I place an international order?

 

Answer:

All personal information is indeed secure, and the presence of a secure socket can be verified by selecting "File" ---> "Properties" in your browser menu on pages where you enter personal information.  The connection contains information about the SSL layer and 128-bit encryption.

Merch Method is constantly striving to make your shopping experience as worry-free as possible.  To this end, we use secure socket layer [SSL] protocol, which is the industry standard for ensuring the security of your electronic commerce transactions. SSL uses 128-bit encryption for all personal information in transit over the Internet, including your credit card number, name and address. Merch Method will continue to provide the highest level of security to process your transaction by implementing improvements as new technologies become available.

What are your domestic shipping rates for US customers?

 

Answer:

Shipping charges are based on the contents and destination of your order.  To calculate your online shipping charge, please add all desired items to your online shopping cart and proceed to checkout.  (You do not enter any credit card information until the shipping method and cost has been selected.)  Merch Method’s many stores have various policies regarding shipping charges, thus we are unable to state specific rates.  U.S. Domestic orders ship by default through the U.S. Postal Service and can take 7-12 business days for delivery.  You do have the option to upgrade to UPS for an additional charge.  All orders with PO/APO/FPO addresses can only be shipped via U.S. Postal Service, and please allow up to 7-12 business day for delivery.

Question:

What payment methods do you accept?

 

Answer:

A credit card is necessary for orders placed over the Internet. You can place an order online using a major credit card such as American Express, Master Card, or Visa.  All prices listed are in U.S. dollars -- if you need a currency conversion/exchange rate, please consult your local bank.  U.S. sales tax is required for all orders shipping to CA, MD, NY, and VA.  You can order through the post by using a U.S. money order or personal check (do not send cash.)  All checks will be held for ten days for processing.  There will be a $20 processing fee for each returned check.

Question:

How do you calculate international taxes and duties?

 

Answer:

If you are placing an international order, you will be subject to customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, etc.) when it arrives.  The shipping charges applied to your order do not include customs fees. If you are not familiar with the fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information.  If you refuse to pay the customs fees when your order arrives, the shipment will be returned.  Merch Method does not estimate customs fees, taxes, duties, etc.  The delivery of your order could be delayed due to processing.  If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package awaiting payment.  Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment.  Please be familiar with the customs charges in your country before ordering.  Due to international shipping law/practices, Merch Method is unable to declare merchandise as a "Gift" on customs forms.

When will my order be processed?

 

Answer:

Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.  For U.S. customers, we offer a same-day shipping upgrade for Overnight/Next Business Day orders placed by 3:00pm, EST, Monday - Friday.  Our intent is to offer our customers a secure experience.  Therefore, all orders are subject to a security check, which may result in a delay of up to 48 hours.  If your order is under review, the items on your order may not be available at the time the order is released.

 

REASONS FOR SECURITY CHECK

 

·         The banking partner with the credit card you provided informed us that one or more components of the billing address that you provided in your order do not match the information in the bank’s system.

·         You have moved recently and have not updated the billing address on your credit card.

·         You entered the shipping information as the billing information.

·         You are a college student who entered your current address and nor your billing address.
 

In order for our customers to receive their items in the shortest time possible, we process orders as soon as they are received.  We are unable to cancel, change, combine shipping, or add items to an order once it has processed.

 

For our international customers:
